Through close collaboration with ventures, clinical and academic institutions, industry partners, and access to investor networks, the Wyss Center fosters the development of impactful solutions that improve lives. /p pWe are looking for a skilled and motivated bVR/XR software Engineer /b with a product-focused and innovative mindset, who will take ownership of features from concept to implementation, integration, and delivery. /p pIn this role, the candidate will develop and enhance immersive applications for digital therapeutics, patient engagement, behavioral assessment, and neurotechnology research. The candidate will work closely with neuroscientists, clinicians, software engineers, and designers to create engaging, reliable, and clinically meaningful experiences. /p pOur current solutions leverage immersive technologies and biofeedback-driven interventions to support neurological and mental health applications. As the platform evolves, the candidate will contribute to its expansion toward mixed reality and next-generation spatial computing environments. /p h3Key responsibilities /h3 ulliDevelop and enhance Unity-based VR/XR applications while maintaining integration with core algorithms and backend systems. /liliTake ownership of features end-to-end, from prototyping and implementation to backend integration, testing, and deployment. /liliImplement new therapeutic, assessment, and training modules within immersive environments. /liliIntegrate physiological biofeedback data into applications for research and therapeutic use. /liliCollaborate with engineers, neuroscientists, and clinicians to ensure accurate data capture, synchronization, and compliance with QMS standards. /liliCreate or integrate immersive assets, environments, and gamification elements that improve engagement and usability. /liliSupport the evolution from VR to XR and mixed-reality platforms by developing scalable, modular, and extensible software architectures. /liliOptimize application performance and stability for standalone VR headsets and emerging spatial computing platforms. /liliMaintain high standards for software quality, testing, technical documentation, and version control. /liliContribute to the continuous improvement of development workflows, tools, and technical architecture. /liliEvaluate emerging XR technologies, development practices, and hardware platforms. /li /ul h3Profile required /h3 ulliMinimum three to five years of experience developing Unity-based VR, AR, or XR applications. /liliStrong proficiency in C# and sound knowledge of software engineering principles. /liliExperience integrating applications with backend systems and APIs. /liliProven ability to optimize and deploy Unity applications for standalone VR headsets. /liliExperience using Git and working collaboratively on software development, including automated testing and deployment processes. /liliFamiliarity with human-computer interaction, immersive experience design, and gamification principles. /liliAbility to evaluate and work with emerging XR and mixed-reality technologies. /liliStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. /liliAbility to work independently and take ownership while contributing effectively within an interdisciplinary team. /liliAbility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced development environment. /liliGood time management and prioritization /liliStrong written and spoken English, French is a plus. /li /ul h3Nice to have: /h3 ulliExperience developing software as medical device following ISO 62304 /liliKnowledge of cybersecurity and how to document and test /liliKnowledge of designing user interfaces following usability guidelines /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
