We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design, delivery and commissioning of major offshore wind projects. The role will focus on electrical systems across offshore substations, onshore substations, export systems and grid connections.

Responsibilities
- Design and review HV/MV electrical systems, substations, transformers, switchgear and protection systems.
- Prepare and review single-line diagrams, load lists, cable schedules and technical specifications.
- Support offshore and onshore electrical system design and grid connection activities.
- Coordinate with SCADA, protection, control, cable, civil and mechanical engineering teams.
- Review OEM and supplier documentation and provide technical input during procurement.
- Support installation, testing, commissioning and energisation of electrical equipment.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during construction and commissioning.
- Support FAT, SAT, inspections and electrical testing.
- Ensure compliance with relevant IEC, grid code, HSE and project standards.
- Provide technical support to contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders.
Your Profile:
- Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years' electrical engineering experience within offshore wind, renewables, power generation or transmission.
- Strong knowledge of HV/MV systems, substations, transformers, switchgear and protection.
- Experience with offshore wind electrical systems, grid connection or export cables.
- Understanding of SCADA, control and protection systems.
- Experience supporting construction, commissioning and energisation.
- Familiarity with electrical standards and grid codes.
- Strong stakeholder and contractor management skills.
- Offshore wind experience is highly desirable; offshore certifications/GWO advantageous.
- English required; additional European languages advantageous.
