Job Responsibilities:
- Provision our cloud infrastructure, laying the foundation of our new software product.
- Automate software development and support the team in the complete software development process from development to deployment at our customers – also under aspects of the regulated market.
- Evaluate and provision the required (cloud) infrastructure (e.g. with Terraform).
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure Pipelines).
- Design and implement a partially automated deployment process on Kubernetes (e.g. with FluxCD, Kustomize).
- Configure Kubernetes clusters and provision the associated telemetries.
- Deploy and configure various tools in Kubernetes clusters (e.g. message bus, databases).
- Consult and collaborate on rollout strategies including software configuration management.
- Advise on infrastructure scenarios and an on-premise solution.
- Ensure compliance with security and data protection aspects.
- Provide tools for monitoring, logging, and tracing.
- Support the integration of automated tests.
Required Experience:
- Completed training/studies in the field of computer science or comparable training.
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Software configuration in a microservice and cloud-native environment.
- Knowledge in the area of cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform and Azure).
- In-depth knowledge of creating CI/CD pipelines (ideally Azure) and establishing a CI/CD solution.
- Knowledge of operating Kubernetes clusters on an on-premise landscape (desirable).
