Position: ABAP Developer
Employment: Permanent
Location: Dresden
Type: Hybrid (3 Days onsite per week)
Salary: Up to €70,000 per year (Depending on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Further development and optimization of business processes in a complex SAP ECC landscape (highly customized environment) and active involvement in the migration to S/4HANA
- Development and maintenance of ABAP and ABAP OO programs, reports, enhancements, and forms (SmartForms, Adobe Forms)
- Design and implementation of interfaces (IDoc, RFC, etc.)
- Use of modern SAP development environments such as ABAP Workbench and Eclipse/ADT, including debugging and transport management
- Monitoring, error analysis, and debugging in the development environment, and initiation of appropriate corrective measures
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation (custom developments, interfaces, tests)
- Ensuring compliance requirements (data protection, GMP regulations, occupational safety, environmental protection) within development projects
Experience:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with ABAP and ABAP OO
- Good knowledge of SAP ECC (with a high degree of customization) and initial experience with S/4HANA migrations
- Expertise in the development and integration of SAP interfaces (IDoc, RFC)
- Confident use of SAP development tools (ABAP Workbench, Eclipse/ADT, transport management, debugging)
- Understanding of SAP module integration (e.g. MM, PP, SD, FI/CO, QM) from a developer's perspective
- Very good written and spoken German and English (at least B2 level)
