Strategy Analyst in Zürich

Position: Strategy Analyst - Commercial

Overview Position / Company:

Our client is a global chemicals product group undergoing a significant growth phase. We are looking for a Strategy Analyst to join the global commercial strategy team in Zurich (Hybrid).

Position Responsibilities Include:

• Key part of the global strategy team sitting at the intersection of category strategy, partnership management, innovation, transformation, go to market and commercial teams
• Researching and evaluating new ideas, technologies and potential partners with a view of implementing those that help drive the business
• Generating business plans, pilots and proof of concepts as well as developing and launching MVP's as required
• Work closely with multiple internal departments from commercial / business development to technology to ensure business buy in and help drive innovative new strategies
• Select and build strategic relationships with external consulting, technology and start-ups groups to leverage new ideas, knowledge and build strategic partnerships
• Establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders

Requirements:

• Educated to degree level in Business / Marketing, Masters or MBA an advantage
• Minimum 3-4 years experience as a Strategy Analyst working for a physical product group - chemicals, consumer goods, pharma, luxury...
• Excellent relationship builder with ability to collaborate cross functionally to forge and manage successful partnerships both internally and externally
• Passion for new ideas, emerging technologies and staying at the forefront of industry trends
• Project management experience
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Fluent English essential, another European language an advantage
