Head of IT & Supply Chain

Location: Braunschweig

One of the largest clothing retailers in Europe is forming a new IT Business Consulting team and are looking for a Head of IT Business Consulting with a focus on Supply Chain & Procurement topics. They have over 1,000 stores across Europe, grossed +€4 billion last year and are looking to continue their success with you leading the way.

In this position, you will manage a team of 13 consisting of business consultants, application consultants, project managers. You will define departmental strategy and focus on topics that interface with IT and Business processes with a focus on Supply Chain , Procurement and Logistics . In the longer term you will scale the team to ∼ 25 people .

The role…

• Technical and disciplinary management of IT Business Consulting department
• Managing and implementing cross departmental projects and developing best practices
• Strategic planning of business process optimisation, IT projects, departmental support

Your experience…

• Experience in leading teams/departments from managerial perspective
• Understanding in any of the following topics: Supply Chain , Procurement , Logistics
• Experience in ERP systems (e.g. MS Dynamics, SAP ERP, Oracle ERP, etc.)
• Fluent German and English
