DevOps Engineer (German Speaker)

For my customer in Kiel, they are looking for a DevOps engineer.

The position will require 1-2 days in Kiel per week. The role is under Arbeitnehmeruberlassung Contract (18-24 months).

Core Responsibilities

• As a DevOps Engineer, you are part of a DevOps Squad of four DevOps Engineers and support the development of our IT platforms.
• You are part of our Application Software Platform Team and help realize the establishment of our container-based customer and development platforms.
• You are familiar with the implementation and evaluation of DevOps strategies and processes.
• You have experience collaborating with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
• You bring valuable experience in the creation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines for automating software builds and deployments.

Required Qualifications

• Successfully completed a degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, along with experience in Platform or DevOps Engineering.
• Knowledge in constructing CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of container technologies like Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge in automating Linux and Windows Server systems.
• Teamwork skills, strong communication, and an independent, structured, and solution-oriented work style, as well as good German and English skills in speech and writing, complete your profile.
