Project Manager (Communications) in München

Our client, an international electronics manufacturing technology company, is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, international projects from its Munich site. You will own delivery end to end, steer external partners and suppliers, and keep senior management informed. Project and financial controlling runs in SAP, alongside MS Project and Jira.

Key responsibilities

Project governance and delivery

• Manage advanced, complex projects end to end, keeping to budget, timeline, quality standards and KPIs
• Take full accountability for complex sub-project areas, including steering external partners and subcontractors

Risk and stakeholder management

• Lead strategic risk management: identify risks early and drive countermeasures and action items
• Produce strategic status reports and keep information flowing to management and all relevant stakeholders

Finance, tools and supplier control

• Run project and financial controlling in SAP
• Plan and track work in MS Project and Jira
• Manage strategic suppliers and contracts

Mandatory requirements

• Degree: completed degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable field
• Senior PM experience: several years of proven senior-level project management experience
• International projects: demonstrated success in international projects and in strategic supplier and contract management
• PM certification: PMP, PRINCE2 or IPMA Level C/B
• Complex multi-project expertise: expert at managing parallel, highly complex project landscapes, with strong multitasking and prioritisation
• PM tools and SAP: expert-level MS Project and Jira; proficient use of SAP for financial controlling
• Language: fluent German

Preferred

• Hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO (FICO)
