Today, our HR systems, processes and data still live in three different worlds. Bringing them together is your mission.

You will build the HR technology foundation for the new organisation from the ground up: one stack, one trusted source of data, and smart solutions that make life easier for HR, leaders and colleagues on the frontline alike.

Why this role exists
You turn the needs of our business into technology that works. You own the HR technology stack for Solo, and you have a sharp eye for where technology genuinely solves a problem, rather than following the latest trend.
What you will do
You start by mapping the HR systems landscape across our three legacy companies and turning it into one consolidated HR technology roadmap. From there, you lead the implementation and migration of our core systems, from HRIS and payroll integrations to performance, talent and recruitment tools. You build with scalability as a starting principle: no stopgaps, but solutions that grow with the organization.
Good technology starts with listening. You actively gather input from HR colleagues, managers and employees, and translate what you hear into choices that solve the real problem, not just the first or easiest one. But you don’t stop at the wish list. You look beyond the obvious, spot opportunities nobody has asked for yet, and bring in AI where it makes a real difference, whether in recruitment, onboarding, people analytics or employee self-service. You keep a close eye on what is happening in the HR technology market and bring the best of it into Solo.
You own data quality, integration and governance across our HR systems, so leaders can rely on one trusted source. You build the dashboards and reporting that give HR and leadership insights they can act on. And you don’t work alone: you join forces with IT, Finance and your fellow new HR leads in Talent Management, Engagement & Internal Communications and Change Management to make sure technology serves all of them. You also manage our relationships with external vendors and systems partners.

- You have selected and implemented HR systems, ideally in a multi-entity or post-merger environment
- You love data and systems integration, and you are the natural bridge between HR and IT
- You listen, ask the right questions and turn the voice of the business into a clear technology choice
- You look beyond the problem in front of you and come up with solutions nobody asked for but everyone ends up using
- You know the HR technology market, follow the trends and bring the best ideas in
- You build for scale from day one, not as an afterthought
- You use AI as a natural part of your work, and you are the one who pulls the organization forward with it
- You thrive across cultures and languages, working with both our French and Dutch teams
- Experience in a private equity-backed or fast-growing organization is a plus
- You are a builder, not a maintainer
