Senior Full Stack Engineer (m/f/d) Finance & Accounting - Remote

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you’ll play a key role in evolving our Finance & Accounting domain—specifically across our order-to-cash and procure-to-pay workflows. You’ll be building robust, intuitive solutions that power the daily operations of thousands of users. We’re currently exploring agnostic approaches to payment transactions—just one of many high-impact challenges you’ll help solve.

Your Tasks

• You design, develop, and maintain full stack solutions using PHP, Go, and React
• You take ownership of features end-to-end — from planning and implementation to deployment and monitoring
• You proactively drive technical decisions to improve scalability, maintainability, and performance
• You collaborate closely with Product, QA, and Design to turn complex requirements into user-friendly solutions
• You build robust systems for finance and accounting workflows, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• You help shape a flexible, agnostic architecture for payment transaction handling
• You contribute to a culture of quality through code reviews, testing, and knowledge sharing

Your Profile

• You bring 5+ years of experience as a full stack engineer, ideally in finance or SaaS environments
• You have deep knowledge of PHP, and ideally experience with modern frameworks like Symfony or Laravel
• You are experienced in Go and/or React, and enjoy working across the stack
• You understand finance and accounting processes, such as invoicing, payments, and bookkeeping
• You take ownership of your work and drive projects forward independently
• You are proactive in identifying problems and proposing effective solutions
• You thrive in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly and constructively
• You speak fluent English; German is a plus
