Intern/Working Student – Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)(m/f/d)Start date: As soon as possible Working hours: Up to 20 hrs/week during lecture periods, flexible up to full-time during semester breaks.【About the Role】We are looking for a motivated working student to support our Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) function.

You will work closely with the EHS/HR/Compliance team on projects covering occupational safety, risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and workplace safety documentation.

This role is ideal for a student currently enrolled in an EHS-related degree program (e. g., Occupational Safety and Health, Safety Engineering, Environmental Health, Public Health, or a related engineering/science field), or someone with hands-on EHS experience seeking to deepen their expertise in an international corporate environment.【Key Responsibilities】1.

Support the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for workplace and commuting accident management, in both German and English.2.

Work closely with external consultants and internal QHSE lead in ISO 45001 certification project.3.

Assist with risk assessments and hazard analyses using established EHS methodologies (e. g., HEMP/Bowtie, 5-Why, Ishikawa).4.

Help track and analyze safety metrics such as LTIF (Lost Time Injury Frequency).5.

Research and monitor compliance with German occupational safety regulations (Arb Sch G, Arb Stätt V, DGUV Vorschriften, SGB VII).6.

Support the coordination of workplace safety topics, including fire protection, ergonomics, and facility-related safety measures (e. g., storage/charging of e-mobility devices, entrance/transition zone safety).7.

Prepare internal communications, training materials, and safety flowcharts for employees.8.

Assist with insurance-related assessments (e. g., VBG coverage questions for company events and employee activities).9.

Support administrative tasks related to accident documentation (Verbandsbuch entries, escalation matrices).10.

Contribute to ad hoc EHS and compliance projects as needed.【Your Profile】1.

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Occupational Safety and Health, Safety Engineering (Sicherheitstechnik), Environmental Health, Public Health, Industrial Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical EHS experience.2.

First practical experience in EHS, occupational safety, or a related compliance function (internship, working student role, or vocational training) is a plus.3.

Familiarity with German workplace safety regulations (Arb Sch G, DGUV, Arb Stätt V) is an advantage; willingness to learn quickly is essential.4.

Structured, detail-oriented way of working with strong documentation skills.5.

Fluent in German and English (written and spoken); comfortable with legal and technical terminology in both languages.

Chinese/ Mandarin is a plus.6.

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), feishu.7.
