Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage design projects, ensuring alignment with brand identity and project goals.
2. Develop and present design concepts, sketches, and 3D models to stakeholders.
3. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and interns.
4. Concept Development:

1. Create innovative and forward-thinking design concepts for both interior and exterior vehicle components.
2. Conduct research and trend analysis to inform design decisions.
3. Collaborate with the design team to iterate and refine concepts.
4. Work closely with engineering, product planning, and marketing teams to ensure design feasibility and integration.
5. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
6. Engage with suppliers and external partners to source materials and technologies.

1. Develop detailed design specifications and CAD models for production.
2. Oversee the development of prototypes and mock-ups.
3. Ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, and regulatory requirements.

1. Manage project timelines, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
2. Maintain organized documentation of design processes and decisions.
3. Communicate project status and progress to leadership and stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

1. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automotive Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in automotive design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software and other industry-standard tools.
4. Portfolio: A robust portfolio showcasing a range of innovative automotive designs and successful projects.
5. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
6. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
7. Passion for automotive design and innovation.
8. Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics and ergonomics.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Adaptable and open to feedback, with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Conditions

1. Based in the design studio with standard office hours.
2. May require occasional overtime to meet project deadlines or support studio events.
