Overview
In this role you will drive quality for Yalwa’s web and mobile apps, designing and executing end-to-end tests and building automation with Playwright. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to catch issues early, validate features, and ensure stable releases across environments. You’ll apply a full testing spectrum—from functional to localization and regression—while contributing to intelligent automation initiatives. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web and mobile apps (iOS & Android)
- Create and optimize Playwright automation scripts (JavaScript) and leverage AI tools to accelerate automation
- Conduct functional, smoke, sanity, integration, localization, and regression testing on complex features
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers and DevOps to identify issues early (shift-left)
- Investigate, document, and track bugs in Jira/Confluence and coordinate fixes
- Verify environments and assist with release coordination
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support to safeguard release quality
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 2-5 years of software quality assurance experience
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and STLC
- Experience with mobile testing on iOS and Android
- Experience creating/executing Playwright automation scripts (JavaScript)
- Git/GitHub workflow experience
- Basic SQL for direct queries
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills
