For our European Headquater in Hattersheim near Frankfurt/Main, we are looking for a Team Leader SAP Competence Center (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- Technical responsibility for SAP FI/CO in a hybrid ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA landscape
- Support and further development of:
o ECC 6.0 system (on-prem, approx. 300 users)
o New S/4HANA system (on-prem, currently approx.300 users, final capacity approx. 1,000 users) - Hands‑on involvement in day‑to‑day operations and projects
- Strategic development of the FI/CO modules, including conceptual responsibility
- Analysis and optimisation of the S/4 Core Template (live since March, high potential for improvement)
- Close collaboration with adjacent systems (e. g. Salesforce, Tacton, Windchill)
- Roll‑out of the S/4HANA system to all countries in the EMEA region
- Contribution to innovation initiatives, e. g. extensions through automation or AI approaches
- Team lead of the SAP project team (6 people) including technical management
Our expectation
- At least 10 years’ experience in the SAP finance environment (FI/CO)
- English as working language, German
- Ideally practical experience in finance or controlling
- Very good knowledge of:
o ECC 6.0 Standard Accounting & Controlling
o S/4HANA FI/CO, in particular: - Actual Costing
- Multi‑Ledger Accounting
- Product costing (PP)
- WBS settlement (PS)
- Tariff calculation
- Month‑end closing & fast close
- Inventory valuation
- FIORI applications in the finance sector
- Experience in international roll‑out or transformation projects is an advantage
- Structured, independent working style
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach
- Significant scope for initiative and genuine decision‑making authority
- Hands‑on role with strategic influence
