About this role

As a Senior QA Tester for the cross-product platform area of our YAVICA products, you will be responsible for driving the global quality assurance strategy rather than just executing hands-on tests.

Your responsibilities will encompass our solutions across all YAVICA products.

We need a dedicated leader to consolidate and scale our testing practices, standardize processes, and elevate the team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA leadership, the ability to implement unified test strategies across a complex ERP ecosystem, and a passion for mentoring and guiding others.

In this role, your key responsibilities are to

• Champion YAVICA’s Quality Manifesto, implementing and evolving the overarching test strategy across all YAVICA products to drive continuous improvement.
• Partner closely with the Test Manager, taking ownership of delegated leadership tasks such as test cycle planning, defect triage leadership, pipeline monitoring, and cross-team resource scaling.
• Dedicate 50% of your time to guiding, training, and lifting up the team, acting as a primary mentor to Junior Product Owners (JPOs) and QA engineers on testing standards and best practices.
• Partner with Product Owners and technical architects to ensure test strategies align with functional designs and product priorities.
• Take professional ownership of quality across the full test pyramid (unit, integration, E2E), ensuring automated suites scale effectively toward continuous delivery.
• Scale up testing resources effectively, coordinating with cross-functional teams to embed Shift Left methodologies and ensure quality is integrated from day one.
• Drive integration testing across the product suite.

Example: ensuring that data flows, subledger postings, and general ledger (GL) impacts are accurate for complex, cross-product scenarios (e. g., combined property and loan transactions).

• Integrate automated tests and quality gates inside CI/CD pipelines (e. g., Azure Dev Ops) to give developers fast, reliable feedback.
• Oversee the troubleshooting and localization of complex defects, guiding the team in analyzing system logs, network traffic, and leveraging various debugging tools to identify root causes.
• Own the quality metrics that matter and use them to support systemic process improvements.
• Be accountable for product quality alongside the PO, leading the definition of complex acceptance criteria and automated testcases.
• You might be a great fit if you have
• 7+ years of QA experience within complex Agile system landscapes, including proven experience in a QA Lead or leadership role driving quality across multiple product lines.
• A relevant qualification (e. g., Computer Science, Accounting, Business) alongside certifications in Software Testing (ISTQB, CSTE, or similar).
• Extensive experience overseeing functional testing (Integration, Acceptance, Regression) and non-functional testing (Performance, Load, Security), as well as various testing approaches (Black-box, White-box, Grey-box).
• Proven experience scaling up testing resources and directly mentoring Junior Product Owners (JPOs) or junior QA staff.
• Understanding of scalable test architecture, maintaining automated regression tests using frameworks such as Playwright or Acceptance Test Library (ATL).
• Proven experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and Azure Dev Ops reporting.
• Experience contributing to the practical use of AI within testing, utilizing Copilots, agentic AI or Generative AI to streamline test case creation and improve pipeline efficiency.
• Strong background in Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
• Domain knowledge in Real Estate, Property Management, or Property Accounting processes.
• Domain knowledge in the Microsoft platform, especially Dynamics Finance & Operations.
• Excellent consulting, communication, written, and presentation skills in English, with the ability to influence engineering culture, actively train others, and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders.
