Overview
SolidWorks CAD Engineer (m/w/d)
Responsibilities
- Creation and further development of 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks
- Design of technical components and assemblies for automated packaging and labeling systems
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary engineering teams and manufacturing partners
- Support in transforming technical concepts into production-ready solutions
- Use and integration of PLM systems within the development process
- Optional involvement in change management activities during ongoing engineering modifications
Qualifications
- Strong experience in SolidWorks 2D/3D design and construction
- Knowledge of PLM systems
- Experience with Siemens Teamcenter is considered a plus
- Additionally experience in technical change management
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, are mandatory
- Structured, detail-oriented, and team-focused working style
- Strong technical understanding and problem-solving mindset
Facts
- Duration: 18 months
- Contract model: 6 + 12 months
- Start: ASAP / June
- Workload: 40–50 hours per week
- Location: Hamme, Belgium (100% onsite)
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, no weekend or shift work
