Yibi Precision is looking for a Materials Engineer to support material selection, process development and performance validation for precision metal components.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate materials for mechanical, corrosion and manufacturing requirements.
- Analyze relationships between material composition, heat treatment and component performance.
- Support investigations involving hardness, corrosion resistance and magnetic response.
- Work with manufacturing engineers on MIM and other metal-processing technologies.
- Support failure analysis and material-related root-cause investigations.
- Review material testing and characterization data.
Qualifications
- Degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy or Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge of stainless steels and engineering alloys.
- Understanding of microstructure, heat treatment and mechanical properties.
- Experience with metal manufacturing processes preferred.
- Strong analytical and experimental skills.
