For our client, a fast-growing robotics company near Munich (approximately 40 minutes drive from Munich), we are looking for a Regional Sales Manager (full-time position) with the possibility of mostly working from home.
Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Studies in business economics, industrial engineering, robotics, or automation, or appropriate vocational training with relevant work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in outside sales, preferably with distributors.
- Previous experience in industrial automation, solution/project sales involving technical products.
- Strong understanding of value propositions to end-users.
- Business acumen applicable across various decision-making levels, from senior management to technical support.
- Effective communication skills in German and English, both oral and written; additional languages are an advantage.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies.
- Manage sales goals and quotes within the assigned territory.
- Identify new sales opportunities and introduce qualified leads to local robot distributors.
- Drive KPIs and action plans to meet annual targets.
- Develop countermeasures to address shortfalls against budget.
- Manage opportunity funnel, forecasting, and action plans.
- Qualify and follow up on sales leads to ensure a strong sales pipeline with distributors.
- Participate in joint visits with distributor sales representatives to end-users and integrators.
- Represent the company at trade shows and professional events.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitive products and market activity.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
