About our client

Our client, for whom we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer (full-time position), is the subsidiary of a large international manufacturer in the field of household appliances (Fortune Global 500).

Duties and responsibilities:

1. Create requirement lists and specify components specification sheets
2. Engineering and design of components and systems
3. Execute and manage laboratory setups for evaluation
4. Development of technical solutions and implementation in technical drawings
5. Design of mechanical and electrical components such as plastic or sheet metal
6. Design layout of mechanical assemblies
7. Create feasibility, effort and cost estimations
8. Preparation of risk assessments
9. Setup and optimization of prototypes
10. Functional analysis of mechanical and mechatronic components
11. Work in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to ensure product development

Qualifications and knowledge:

1. Minimum Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
2. More than 3 years work experience in electronic and mechanical industries for consumer home appliances
3. Solid understanding of consumer product development and manufacturing processes
4. Good knowledge in plastic engineering
5. Good knowledge in CAD Systems (Preferred Creo Parametrics)
6. Basic knowledge in National Instruments Hardware
7. Basic programming experience such as C/C++
8. Fluent business English skills
9. Creative thinker with strong innovation skills
10. Proactive, goal-oriented, and self-managed
11. Experience with international, cross-cultural teams and interactions
