About our client
Our client , for whom we are looking for a Senior Credit Analyst (full-time job) is the subsidiary in Frankfurt of a worldwide renowned financial insitution (Fortune Global 500 company) .
Duties and responsibilities:
Credit Review
- Analysis of creditworthiness of clients by using both quantitative and qualitative factors
- Perform rating review and update on the clients
- Preparation of credit review report and presentation to Credit Committee
- Preparation of meetings for Credit Committee and preparation of meeting minutes
Credit Administration
- Checking conditions precedent for loan payment
- Monitoring of existing clients/exposures in compliance with internal and external rules
- Reporting of large exposures and loans of EUR 1million and above to German Bundesbank including management of customer data (“Stammdaten”)
- Management of pledged loans for refinancing purposes to Bundesbank (“MACCS”)
- Risk reports to local Management Board and Head Office
- Establishing and managing credit files (hardcopy and digital)
- Supporting Corporate Banking and Operations for credit related matters
Qualifications and knowledge:
- University degree in economics, finance or banking
- 4 – 5 years of work experience in front or middle office of commercial banks
- Know-how in credit review, rating and risk analysis of corporate clients
- Knowledge of finance, economics and accounting standards
- Knowledge of banking supervisory requirements in Germany (e.g., Banking Act, MaRisk)
- Good skills in MS Office
- Proficient in German and English language, Chinese would be of advantage
