I’m supporting a global software engineering organisation in hiring an experienced Program / Portfolio Manager to co-lead part of a key customer account and oversee a portfolio of complex software delivery projects.
You’ll manage a set of 3–5 projects (annual portfolio value: €2–3M ), drive high-quality delivery, and maintain strong customer relationships.
What You’ll Do
- Lead a portfolio of projects, working closely with Project Managers
- Oversee delivery quality, budgeting, risks, and client communications
- Build, maintain, and scale multi-project programs/portfolios
- Understand system interdependencies to support complex software–hardware solutions
- Co-own the customer relationship and ensure smooth account operations
- Visit the customer on-site in Goettingen 1 day per week
What You Need
- ✔ Fluent German speaker , fluent in English
- ✔ Strong track record managing large delivery projects across various contract models
- ✔ Experience running programs/portfolios or multiple parallel projects
- ✔ Previous technical background to understand architectural & delivery interdependencies
- ✔ Ability to work hybrid and travel weekly to Goettingen
