As part of Zalando Content Solutions, the Creative Partner Network’s Content Production & Services team is specialized in large-scale content production for e-commerce, consulting, strategic oversight, and market-driven innovation with the help of external partners and service providers. We are seeking a Senior Partner Manager to drive the growth of externally produced content and services for high-volume e-commerce. In this role, you’ll expand our production expertise by strengthening our partner network, ensuring long-term content success for Zalando. As a trusted advisor and leader, you will play a key role in shaping our future.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

• Partner Management : Work closely with our external partners and internal colleagues to ensure the highest quality in delivery, aligning strategies of content and practicability. Research and evaluate potential partners, assessing their capabilities and expertise to strategically improve our partnerships. Manage partners and processes against defined SLAs and KPI targets, following regulations and company guidelines.

• Project Management : Plan, coordinate and execute daily operations, testing, and pilots. Develop processes and timings, optimizing and organizing structures and tasks to enable effective collaboration. Manage project administrations such as Scope of Work and NDAs, and handle crisis situations when needed, escalating issues and solutions to Team Leads.

• Role model : Live and breathe Zalando OFMS and support more junior team members, including prioritization, mentoring, and using your excellent communication and management skills. Work closely with Team lead(s) to contribute to overall structures for success and growth of talent and team.

• Dynamic Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to determine needs and requirements, fostering a collaborative work environment. Facilitate communications required throughout the entire lifecycle with colleagues and stakeholders. Hold workshops and regular retrospective meetings with external partners to constantly improve outcomes and strengthen collaboration.

• Performance Monitoring : Monitor and evaluate external partner performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards and KPIs such as time to online and attribute and visual quality score.

• Compliance and Risk Mitigation : Ensure external partners comply with legal and regulatory requirements, managing contracts, licenses, and intellectual property rights, while proactively mitigating potential risks associated with vendor partnerships.

• Contract Development : Collaborate with procurement to develop value-driven framework contracts with our creative partners, showcasing your skills in negotiating and structuring impactful agreements.

• Process and Quality Optimization : Drive continuous improvement and streamline partner management processes, implementing best practices and leveraging technology for efficient content partner management.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

• You bring 5+ years of experience in leading external partners and service providers, sourcing, structuring, and steering high-volume content production within a corporate environment, creative/event agencies, or a production company.

• Experience in delivering and managing projects from start to finish, requiring steering and communication with multiple stakeholders.

• Hands-on mentality, enjoying a fast-paced environment and thriving to find the best solution efficiently.

• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to network, collaborate, and resolve conflicts.

• Lead by example with high standards and strong work ethics according to Zalando’s OFMs.

• Interest in mentoring people and managing various types of personalities.

• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Interest in keeping up to date with trends and technologies in content production and business landscapes.

• Successful completion of a degree in business administration, business psychology, marketing, communication, multimedia production, or similar fields.

• Experience in fashion, lifestyle, and digital advertising.

• Experience in using project management tools (e.g., Asana).

• Fluent English is necessary.
