Lounge by Zalando is an online shopping club for fashion and lifestyle products. We offer our members daily, time-limited sale campaigns with discounts of up to 75% off the recommended retail price. We\’re seeking an exceptional Principal Product Manager to lead the development of our next-generation commercial intelligence platform. In this role, you\’ll drive the vision and execution of an AI-powered system that transforms how we make business decisions across our e-commerce operations. You\’ll work at the intersection of applied science, technology, and commercial teams to deliver measurable business impact.

Problem Discovery & Strategy:
- Lead discovery and validation of high-impact commercial decisions suitable for algorithmic optimization
- Transform complex business problems into clear product requirements for our applied science teams
- Own the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Drive prioritization across multiple stakeholder groups and technical workstreams
Stakeholder Management & Delivery:
- Build strong partnerships across commercial and technology teams
- Facilitate effective collaboration between applied science teams and business stakeholders
- Drive the progressive rollout of platform capabilities across different business areas
- Ensure smooth adoption and value realization for all stakeholder groups
WE\’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF….
- You have 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years focusing on AI/ML products or platforms.
- You have a proven track record of launching successful B2B software products that drive measurable business impact.
- You have a strong foundation in data science and machine learning concepts, particularly in optimization and decision systems.
- You have experience with commercial optimization problems (e.g., pricing, inventory management, or forecasting).
- You have excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics.
- You have a track record of breaking down complex technical concepts for business audiences.
- You have a Bachelor\’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
