Quality Manager (all genders) Logistics / limited parental leave cover
As Quality Manager (all genders) , you are responsible for the process and product quality in our logistics sites. Join us at Zalando and play a key role in shaping our quality strategy and a great customer experience! Be at the forefront of standardising quality across our logistics network, tracking KPIs, and driving excellence. Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to gain deep insights into our logistics processes, and help us deliver seamless operations across the board.
The position is limited for one year as it is a coverage for a parental leaver.
WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
- Improve quality by challenging the KPIs of the logistics sites by analysing the root causes and deriving suitable improvement measures together with the logistic site teams.
- Create a standardised understanding of quality throughout the entire logistics operations network and regularly review and improve our quality KPIs.
- Enable the sites to execute monthly and annual inventories reliably.
- Conduct process and article audits, ensuring that the action points are implemented and monitor the effectiveness of the measures taken.
WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO HAVE
- Work experience preferably with a focus on quality management ideally within logistics.
- Business fluent in English and German (other languages are an advantage).
- Experience with methods and tools in quality and process management such as Pareto analysis, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, PDCA cycle.
- Analytical, structured, and self-organised approach to tasks with well-developed communication skills.
