Quality & Commissioning Lead Datacenter (all genders)
To ensure the quality-assured delivery of our international data center projects, we are looking for an experienced leader to take responsibility for the mechanical disciplines. As Quality & Commissioning Lead, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of all quality assurance and commissioning activities, from the design and procurement phases through to the final technical handover to the customer. Your focus will be on mechanical systems such as cooling and chilled water systems, HVAC systems, heating, plumbing and piping systems, as well as their interfaces with electrical, I&C/BMS, and overarching building systems. Overall responsibility for Quality Management and Commissioning activities related to mechanical work packages Development and implementation of the project-specific quality and commissioning strategy Ensure and monitor quality processes, including ITP, NCR, RFI, and punch list management Lead Mechanical Completion, FAT/SAT, system walkdowns, commissioning, and acceptance activities through to successful system handover Review relevant technical documentation and ensure compliance with quality requirements from design through final handover Manage and oversee the quality and commissioning performance of subcontractors and suppliers Coordinate project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients across all relevant interfaces Ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and client requirements, including complete project documentation Provide technical leadership to Quality and Commissioning teams and report to project management and senior management Completed technical education, master craftsman qualification, or degree (HTL, University of Applied Sciences, or University) in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy & Utility Engineering, or a comparable discipline Several years of professional experience managing complex MEP, industrial, or data center projects Experience with structured commissioning processes and phased acceptance procedures Solid understanding of quality plans, ITPs, Method Statements, inspection records, NCRs, and punch list management Understanding of technical interfaces between mechanical, electrical, I&C/BMS, and building automation systems Structured, solution-oriented, and assertive working style Strong communication, coordination, and decision-making skills Professional proficiency in German and English Willingness to travel internationally and undertake regular business travel as required by project assignments What we offer?

Please note that the collective agreement minimum salary under the attractive Austrian Metal Industry Collective Agreement amounts to € 3.893,09 gross per month.
