Quality Manager (all genders) for Data Center Projects For our Data Center team in Vienna, we are looking for an experienced professional to take responsibility for project-specific quality management and ensure the highest quality standards in collaboration with internal and external project stakeholders. As QA/QC Manager, you will be responsible for the technical coordination of the project quality team and ensure the consistent implementation of quality requirements from project preparation through the construction and installation phases to final acceptance and handover. In this role, you will combine technical quality expertise with a structured, solution-oriented and collaborative approach based on mutual respect.
Responsibility for the planning, implementation and ongoing management of the project-specific QA/QC system
Technical coordination of the project quality team as well as the continuous development of collaboration and technical expertise within the team
Preparation and implementation of project-specific quality plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), inspection procedures, checklists and other quality-related documentation
Ensuring compliance with all contractual, legal, regulatory, client-specific and project-specific quality requirements
Early identification and assessment of quality risks as well as the development of appropriate preventive and improvement measures
Coordination of inspections, tests, audits and acceptance procedures in close collaboration with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams
Management of deviations and non-conformities, including root cause analyses, corrective actions, follow-up and effectiveness reviews
Definition, analysis and reporting of relevant quality KPIs as well as the development of specific improvement measures for the project
Coordination of QA/QC reporting as well as transparent communication with project management, site management and other project stakeholders
Planning and coordination of project-specific QA/QC training and instructions as well as ensuring a consistent understanding of the respective quality responsibilities
Close collaboration with project management, site management, commissioning, engineering and ZAUNERGROUP's central quality department
Completed technical education or training, such as an apprenticeship, technical college, university of applied sciences or university degree in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, building services engineering, process engineering or a comparable field
Several years of relevant experience in QA/QC management for plant engineering, piping, HVAC or large-scale industrial projects
Ideally, experience in data center projects or in technically and organisationally comparable complex project environments
Experience in the technical leadership and coordination of quality teams as well as in collaborating with international project stakeholders
Sound knowledge of the preparation and implementation of quality plans, ITPs, inspection procedures, inspection processes and technical documentation
Experience in handling audits, NCRs, root cause analyses, corrective actions and quality KPIs
Confident and professional manner when dealing with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
Structured, forward-thinking and implementation-oriented approach with a strong focus on quality
Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
Very good German and English language skills
Willingness to work on projects at company locations and construction sites, primarily within the DACH region

Compensation We would like to point out that the collectively agreed minimum salary under the attractive collective agreement for the metal industry amounts to € 52.179,82 gross per year. The actual salary ranges between € 63.000.00 and € 74.000,00 gross per year and will be determined together with you. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will receive an attractive expatriation compensation package with additional financial and material benefits for your assignment abroad.
