Your roleContribute to the development, and maintenance of diamond turning and metrology equipment.Operate, and improve an ultra-precision diamond turning laboratory to manufacture optical molds in optical quality, including setup, basic programming/parameter input, and in-process checks.Prepare, mount, and handle workpieces and tools, ensuring cleanliness and proper clamping/fixturing.Perform measurement tasks using a wide portfolio of metrology devices (e.g., surface profilers, interferometers, coordinate or form measuring systems) to verify optical and geometrical specifications. Support in routine measurement tasks.Document manufacturing parameters, measurement results, and deviations in a structured way.Your profileTechnical or applied studies in optics, electronics, mechanics, physics, or mathematics.Professional experience in an optical, mechanical, or electronics laboratory or workshop environment.Prior exposure to precision manufacturing or metrology equipment is highly desirable.Fundamental understanding of optics, mechanics, and precision manufacturing principles.Hands-on experience with laboratory or workshop instruments, such as alignment tools, microscopes, and measuring devices.Proficiency in MATLAB or Python for basic data processing and analysis.
