As a Process Engineer specializing in melt flow and thermoplastics optimization, your mission is to refine and optimize our material processing techniques to achieve exceptional quality and efficiency in 3D-printed footwear production. You will lead efforts to enhance the consistency, precision, and innovation of our pellet extrusion and thermoplastic dosing systems.

You’ll be part of a pioneering team focused on redefining footwear manufacturing through advanced material science. Your responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing and optimizing melt flow behavior in pellet extruders to improve material consistency and processing efficiency.
- Developing and implementing precise dosing strategies for thermoplastics to ensure consistent production outcomes.
- Conducting in-depth analytics on extrusion processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborating with R&D and production teams to refine extrusion and dosing processes for both new and existing materials.
- Designing and executing experiments and feasibility studies to validate process optimizations.
- Monitoring production metrics and resolving issues related to thermoplastic extrusion and material behavior.
- Leading initiatives to improve material flow, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Documenting process improvements and establishing best practices for extrusion and dosing systems.
- Keeping up to date with industry advancements in pellet extrusion and thermoplastic technologies to introduce new innovations.
Your Skills and Experience
- A degree in Process Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Several years of hands-on experience with melt flow behavior, pellet extruders, and thermoplastic dosing.
- Strong knowledge of thermoplastic materials and their properties in high-temperature processing environments.
- Expertise in process optimization with a focus on improving material flow, dosing precision, and production efficiency.
- Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven approaches to solving manufacturing challenges.
