Role Description

As a Finance & Automation Lead (m/w/d), you will oversee financial planning, reporting, and process optimization to support Zenfulfillment®’s scalable logistics operations. In this full‑time hybrid role based in Berlin, Germany, you will analyze financial data, manage budgets, and ensure accurate financial statements while collaborating closely with operations and leadership teams. You will design and implement automation initiatives to streamline finance and accounting workflows, improve data quality, and increase efficiency across the organization. Day‑to‑day tasks include monitoring key financial metrics, identifying cost‑saving opportunities, coordinating with external partners such as auditors, and preparing clear communication materials for internal stakeholders. You will also contribute to continuous improvement projects and help embed data‑driven decision‑making in the company’s growth strategy.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and drive data-informed decisions.
• Solid knowledge of finance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Experience with financial statements and reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency.
• Proficiency in accounting principles and practices, ideally with experience in a fast‑growing or ecommerce‑focused environment.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross‑functional teams and presenting financial insights to non‑finance stakeholders.
• Experience with process automation, finance tools, and ERP or accounting systems; familiarity with data analytics or BI tools is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a finance leadership or senior finance role; experience in logistics, fulfillment, or ecommerce is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup in Berlin, Germany, combining on‑site collaboration with remote work.
• High attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
