Assistant to the Head of Technical Services (m/f/d) - Permanent Contract - 80 to 100% - Sion
Your responsibilities:
You play a key, versatile and highly responsible role within our structure, forming a strong partnership with our head of technical services. Your working time is ideally split between the field, where you lead and participate in daily maintenance, and project management, MSST safety and administrative support.
Maintenance management and field interventions:
- You oversee daily preventive and corrective maintenance activities in collaboration with the department head and actively participate in complex technical interventions in the field alongside the team. - You ensure the proper functioning, operation and daily upkeep of all our industrial infrastructures and buildings (production plant in Sion, sales points, administrative areas). - You work across a very broad technical scope including HVAC, electrical installations, industrial fluids as well as specific production equipment. - You manage technical emergencies directly on site, efficiently diagnose faults and make immediate decisions necessary to minimise production downtime. - You structure and implement our CMMS tool to ensure complete traceability of interventions, task planning for the team and rigorous monitoring of spare parts stock. - You coordinate interventions by external contractors and ensure technical follow-up of their maintenance contracts with the department head.
Projects, MSST Safety and Administration:
- You work closely with the external MSST specialist to assess the current situation, deploy and maintain our new corporate safety concept and promptly correct identified discrepancies. - You act as internal safety coordinator: you handle all administrative management related to safety, assess risks on site and update emergency plans. - You participate in continuous improvement projects, technical reorganisation or energy management optimisation. - You actively support the head in overall administrative management of the service, staff planning and team supervision.
What you bring:
- You hold a technical CFC (mechanical, electrical engineering or maintenance field) ideally complemented by a Federal Maintenance Agent Certificate or equivalent training. - You have at least 5 years’ experience in multi-technical industrial maintenance (electricity, HVAC, automation, fluids) and infrastructure management. - You have a strong sensitivity to workplace safety; safety training, a COSEC/PERCO certificate or equivalent is an asset. - You have experience in personnel supervision. - You are equally comfortable in the field for technical interventions as you are at a computer for administrative management, projects and safety. - You possess excellent organisational skills, the ability to anticipate, structure processes and manage unforeseen events with a solution-oriented mindset. - You demonstrate rigour, reliability and excellent team spirit. - You hold a driving licence essential for travel between our various sites. - You offer great availability and flexibility, notably to actively participate in the on-call service.
