Warehouse Manager (m/f/d) - Permanent Contract - 100% - Sion
Your tasks:
- You place and monitor orders with suppliers, check the quantities and quality of received goods, and organise and update stocks. - You receive deliveries, verify their conformity, arrange and store products in the appropriate areas, and prepare products for various internal departments or for delivery. - You prepare and organise orders to be delivered to customers or other departments, ensure deliveries comply with quality and the cold chain, and plan and coordinate external shipments. - You control the quality of received and stored products, comply with safety, hygiene and cold chain standards, and maintain a tidy and functional workspace. - You work in coordination with the logistics department and other services, and supervise the warehouse assistant and other logistical helpers.
What you bring:
- You hold a Federal Diploma (BF) as a Logistics Specialist or an equivalent qualification. You have solid experience in logistics, warehouse management or a similar position. - You pay particular attention to quality, compliance with hygiene and safety standards, and ensure proper product preservation. - You have excellent French skills (spoken and written) and can communicate effectively with your team and other departments. - Flexible, reliable and motivated, you know how to organise your work, manage unforeseen events and possibly supervise a team. - You have a good knowledge of the geographical area and are fully operational in managing orders, stocks and deliveries.
