The Role
As a Software Engineer (Fullstack Java), you will focus on developing strategies and building feasible solutions aimed at increasing job bookings at various locations. You will also support key results by identifying and implementing effective practices and innovations to enhance overall performance. This work involves close collaboration with teams across the organization to ensure alignment with broader business objectives.
Your role in our team
- Develop secure, cutting-edge software solutions while enhancing engineering practices.
- Take ownership of end-to-end feature development and monitor release impact and SLOs by ensuring that your solutions are aligned with our engineering principles (Simplicity, Speed, Stability, Scalability, Security).
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, product managers, designers, and data analysts, actively contributing to the processes in your team and the department.
- Contribute to the tech roadmap, the tech radar, and our collectives.
What you’ll bring
- Hands-on experience with Java; familiarity with other languages such as JavaScript, Python, Node & React is an added advantage.
- A strong background in developing and scaling web applications using frameworks and technologies like Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture, Kafka, etc.
- A proactive, solutions-driven attitude, coupled with an innovative spirit and the practicality to identify the most efficient solutions.
- Self-driven qualities, capable of independent management and organization of tasks and responsibilities.
- You are enthusiastic about collaborating with a diverse team, embracing individuals from various backgrounds, cultures, and experience levels, and contributing meaningfully to collective goals.
