PHP Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop new features for fast-growing digital products using modern web technologies
• Maintain and expand the system architecture across frontend, backend, databases, caches, and APIs (e.g., comparison interfaces, result pages, finalization flows, REST APIs)
• Optimize and scale the platform in a service-oriented architecture
• Maintain code quality through daily code reviews and automated testing

Qualifications

• Solid programming skills in at least one language, with a strong interest in software development
• Proven experience in PHP development; experience with modern PHP frameworks (e.g., Symfony or Laravel) is a plus
• Confident working with relational databases, Git, Docker, and in a Linux shell environment
• Experience with AI-based development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Gemini, Windsurf) is a bonus
• Strong attention to detail and a structured, quality-driven approach to work
• Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
