Job Description
Job Content: An Automation Engineer is responsible for efficient interaction between development, operations, and deployment that can balance service reliability and delivery speed. They are skilled at using private and public cloud platforms to build infrastructure delivery pipelines, deploy and monitor services, and manage and learn from incidents. The non-exhaustive list of job responsibilities as well as technical and specific skills/experience is shown below.
Job Responsibilities:
- Liaise with internal deployment teams and apply site reliability engineering principles to a service.
- Define and design standards for multi-tenant infrastructure and services.
- Analyse and optimize processes, write specifications and workflows of automated services.
- Build and deliver standardized automated services.
- Responsible for deploying Infrastructure as Code (IAC).
- Build and operate CI/CD Pipelines.
- Manage, operate, and ensure availability, performance, and security of the mutualized cloud services.
Profile:
- Experience in public cloud services Azure.
- Experience in private cloud services (Vmware, NetApp, Paloalto, Cisco ACI…).
- Good understanding of Infrastructure (Network, Storage, Virtualization, Windows and Linux System, Security, Monitoring).
- Experience in DevOps and Agile methodology.
- Experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, and deployment scripting using PowerShell, Ansible/AWX, Terraform, Python, Azure CLI, Ruby, etc.
- Experience with source code control and build tools, such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab.
- Management of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions).
- Troubleshooting skills in complex multi-area issues.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
