DevOps / IT Operations Engineer (f/m/d)

Your tasks
- Together with our agile teams, you will ensure that our backend systems run like clockwork and develop innovative new IT solutions for our retail products.
- Build, release, deploy – thanks to you, our pipelines are up to any challenge. You not only take care of environment setup and coordination, but also accompany our applications every step of the way, including migration to the cloud.
- Our customer applications run around the clock – because you develop sophisticated monitoring solutions, solve tricky network scenarios with ease and are on call when things go wrong.
- In general, you make „available, performant and secure“ the motto of our applications, develop applications in the Linux and cloud environment and always keep an eye on IT governance requirements and operational standards so that everything runs even more smoothly.
- You focus on communication at every step, get all stakeholders on board and skillfully coordinate across departments and divisions with internal and external contacts.
Your profile
- STEM degree or computer science training
- Several years of professional experience in the development, administration or operation of business software, ideally in a banking or financial services environment
- Sound expertise in application support, monitoring and logging, build and deployment, scripting, databases and networks/firewall
- Practice in the DevOps environment with some of the following tools: Application and web server, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Elastic Stack, Azure DevOps, Git, UC4/Automic, OpenSSL
- Solid understanding of client-server architectures such as microservices, REST APIs, JSON and TLS
- Willing to participate in on-call duties
- Communication skills, solution-oriented, innovative and proactive thinking & acting
- Open to cultural diversity in an international environment
- Very good written and spoken German and English
