The ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe was founded in 1989 to continue the classical arts into the digital age. Today, the ZKM is one of the world’s most renowned institutions for an open concept of art and is both an exhibition and event venue as well as a research institution. It operates nationally and internationally in diverse networks with renowned partners from the fields of culture, science and music. We are a foundation under public law with the City of Karlsruhe and the State of Baden-Württemberg as founders. We are looking for you as IT support employee for central IT (m/f/d) at the earliest possible date What you can expect: In this position, you will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of workstations under macOS, including the installation of software and the administration of user accounts. In addition, you will support the team in the support and administration of our heterogeneous client-server environment. You will be responsible for independent error analysis and troubleshooting in 1st and 2nd level support for around 150 employees. Your tasks will include the creation and ongoing maintenance of IT documentation. You will also actively assist in the selection, procurement and commissioning of IT equipment and ensure that the workstations are always optimally equipped. Depending on your suitability, you will also be involved in internal IT projects.
