Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Pricing Manager who will drive and own pricing initiatives across zooplus shops. You will collaborate with regional and central teams to enhance customer experience, price perception, and pricing strategy execution.
You will own and drive Own Brands Food pricing in close collaboration with commercial teams to reach performance goals and identify growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and improve customer price perception
- Conduct initial pricing calculations for new product launches
- Monitor local market conditions and competitive environment
- Support regional and country teams in defining sources of business
- Develop pricing architecture and strategies in collaboration with Brand Management
- Implement pricing strategies at regional and shop levels
- Align pricing with other stakeholders such as sales, marketing, and promotion
- Evaluate pricing performance and leverage data-driven insights for decisions
- Analyze the impact of pricing changes on customer behavior and financial metrics
- Develop and execute pricing tests and experiments to optimize strategies
- Provide insights and recommendations at shop and management levels
- Improve pricing tools, parameters, and processes for Own Brands Food pricing needs
Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in a business-related discipline with strong quantitative skills (e.g., pricing, mathematics, econometrics)
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in pricing or revenue management, preferably in online retail
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel and SQL
- Initial stakeholder management experience and interest in developing this skill
- Ability to work in a team and deliver high-quality results individually
- Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus
