Location: Munich

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a creative team of designers
• Coordinate with technical development, brand management, and external partners
• Represent the Head of Product Design, including resource and budget planning
• Optimize internal development processes and standards
• Plan and assign tasks, communicate with freelancers and service providers
• Manage timings and budgets within the product area

Creative Product Development

• Oversee the entire figurine development process from concept to series production
• Create innovative product concepts, research, and develop concept boards
• Handle digital modeling, adjustments, and painting of figurines
• Develop color schemes and prepare printing templates
• Find creative solutions for technical connection challenges

Organization & Documentation

• Maintain and organize development-related documentation
• Participate in cross-departmental meetings and design strategies

Profile & Requirements

• Degree in Design (e.g., Industrial, Figurine, or Toy Design) or comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of experience in product development, with some leadership experience
• Experience with rapid prototyping, sculpting, and figurine design advantageous
• Experience in the toy industry is a plus

Skills & Tools

• Strong artistic skills in drawing and modeling
• Proficiency in ZBrush or similar 3D modeling software
• Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and MS 365
• Understanding of anatomy and proportions

Working Style & Communication

• Structured, responsible, and quality-conscious work approach
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders
• Willingness to travel internationally and excellent English skills
