The role
As a Market Unit Head, you will actively engage in networking across the entire region, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of the German market.
You’ll support sales teams, translate the market strategy for Germany into actionable plans for specific territories (BY, NRW, BW), and demonstrate strong determination and commitment to lead the ICP development in Germany.

- Work closely with sales teams to identify business opportunities and increase revenue.
- Represent Zühlke at industry events, conferences and on stage as a thought leader and a strong brand ambassador.
- Generate leads and opportunities with local clients.
- Support client engagement by maintaining a visible and proactive role in key client relationships, understanding client needs, and help to deliver solutions that meet market demands.
- Support Market Unit ICP associated people (e.g. in achieving the revenue targets of the local Market Units and in the preparation and presentation of larger sales bids and stakeholder management).
What’s important to us
- You hold an appropriate education in Technology, Business Administration or a related field.
- You bring over 10 years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a strong record in client acquisition and relationship management, preferably in the technology or professional services industry (ideally in discrete high tech manufacturing including machinery, devices and equipment engineering).
- You have demonstrated experience in generating leads and opportunities and closing larger business opportunities.
- You bring a strong network in the ICP market.
- You are fluent in German and English (C1 level).
- You are highly customer-oriented and you take a hands-on and proactive approach.
