In this role, you will be part of the Information & Technology business unit within P&C Transformation and actively help shape the continued development of Zurich Switzerland.

Become part of the most important strategic P&C initiative, where future products, processes and technologies are being built. As a Solution Architect, you take on a key role in the end-to-end solution design across all Guidewire Centers (Jutro Digital Platform, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter) as well as adjacent Zurich Solutions. You ensure architectural consistency, drive sound technical decision-making, and make sure our solutions comply with Zurich's architecture standards (e.g. ASD42).

What you can expect

• Take ownership of the end-to-end solution design across all Guidewire Centers (Jutro Digital Platform, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter) and adjacent Zurich Solutions
• Ensure architectural consistency and compliance with Zurich's architecture standards (e.g. ASD42) across the entire solution stack
• Evaluate solution alternatives and make well-founded technical decisions in close collaboration with Enterprise Architecture, Security and delivery teams
• Translate complex business requirements into end-to-end solution designs and guide them from concept to successful implementation
• Act as the central point of contact for architectural topics, working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, development teams and external partners

What makes you stand out

• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification, combined with several years of experience as a Solution Architect in an agile insurance environment
• Proven, hands-on experience with Guidewire systems (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, Jutro Digital Platform, Integration Gateway) and their integration into complex IT architectures – ideally at an international insurer such as Zurich
• Solid expertise in integration architectures, API design, cloud technologies (Azure and/or AWS) and common architecture frameworks (e.g. arc42/ASD42, TOGAF)
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, paired with a structured, decisive way of working and the ability to communicate technical topics to different audiences
• Very good command of English and/or German (C1/C2 level)
