Zurich Insurance Group AG, Zürich (ZH). Position: 80% - 100% full-time, immediately, permanent.

We connect leaders and partners through impactful in‑person, hybrid, and digital experiences, including leadership meetings, customer conferences, summits, and public policy forums.

What you will do

• Act as the day‑to‑day lead for Group Events, guiding delivery across formats, coaching the team, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
• Own end‑to‑end planning and execution for internal and external events; shape concepts and content; build run‑of‑show plans; serve as the main point of contact.
• Raise audience experience and production quality with fresh ideas in format, flow, creative, and digital storytelling, embedding sustainable practices.
• Lead delivery from brief to post‑event evaluation, coordinating cross‑functional teams and agencies for larger productions.
• Manage partners, budgets, timelines, and the events calendar; brief and steer external suppliers and production partners to deliver high‑quality results within budget.
• Lead and deliver complex events across live, hybrid, and virtual formats (including livestreams/webcasts), covering attendee journeys, speaker support, venues, suppliers, contracts, and on‑site/show calling.
• Keep stakeholders aligned through crisp project communication and documentation across internal teams, clients, and vendors.
• Report on event status and outcomes; capture learnings and continuously improve formats, processes, and audience feedback loops.
• Manage event technology and tools used to deliver events (e.g., Cvent, Global ME database) and collaborate with colleagues and vendors on registration, event apps, streaming, and production workflows.

What you bring

• Minimum 8+ years delivering high‑profile, high‑impact signature corporate events across live, hybrid, and digital formats.
• Strong program and project‑management skills, including budget oversight, vendor management, stakeholder steering, and agile ways of working.
• Successful track record managing a team of experienced event professionals.
• Hands‑on expertise with event technologies, especially Cvent and enterprise event databases, and ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Experience delivering complex virtual and hybrid events with a focus on audience experience and production quality.
• Ability to anticipate risks and solve problems ad‑hoc.
• Comfortable partnering with senior executives and diverse stakeholders in an international, fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English (and German), able to brief, advise, and present clearly.
• A strong network of event, AV/broadcast, and multimedia production partners and suppliers, with best‑practice experience for state‑of‑the‑art creative productions and sustainable practices.
• Strong Microsoft 365 skills (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
