Overview In this role you will advise on sanctions-related matters across borders, helping protect and enable Zurich’s global business. You will work in an international, collaborative Group Legal team to monitor evolving regimes and shape risk-mitigating strategies. You’ll translate complex sanctions rules into practical guidance for stakeholders and support investigations, policy development, and cross-functional collaboration. Leistungen / Benefits healthy food options fitness facilities bright, collaborative spaces learning resources on-the-job development continuous empowerment and support Verantwortungsbereiche Provide legal advice and research on complex, multi-jurisdictional sanctions matters Assist investigations of potential sanctions breaches with external counsel and regulators as needed Identify trends in sanctions regimes and translate them into practical business guidance Collaborate with Compliance and other functions to shape internal sanctions policies and guidelines Manage sanctions documentation, clauses, and knowledge resources Support the Sanctions Lawyers Network with updates and information flow Contribute to ad hoc topics within Corporate Center Legal remit Zentrale Anforderungen 2–4+ years of relevant international experience with sanctions, AML, or international business law Master's degree in Law or equivalent qualification; bar admission is a plus Strong understanding of EU, UK, US, and Swiss sanctions frameworks Clear drafting skills to translate legal concepts into actionable guidance Autonomous, proactive mindset with risk-based, business-oriented solutions High integrity and sound judgement under time-sensitive conditions Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain organization Strong interpersonal skills Cross-functional collaboration Problem-solving and judgement under pressure Proactive and pragmatic mindset Familiarity with legal and risk management software
