Overview
In this role you will own end-to-end architecture for the FAR landscape, spanning Finance Hub to SAP FICO, GRDC and Group Reporting, and on to Disclosure Management. You’ll shape integration layers and drive strategic platform initiatives like BDC and Data Sphere on AWS. This is a hands-on position that requires deep technical design, prototyping, and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate the financial close. You’ll partner with central finance functions to ensure compliant, scalable and secure reporting architecture. You will lead architecture decisions and craft artefacts that guide multi-stream delivery with real impact on the close cycle.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Own end-to-end architecture from Finance Hub ingest through FICO, GRDC, GR and Disclosure Management
- Lead solution design for GR/GRDC consolidation flows and upstream FICO dependencies
- Architect the Finance Hub integration layer and the Disclosure Management connection to GR
- Shape BDC / Data Sphere as the analytical and automation platform alongside the SAP core on AWS
- Partner with central finance functions and business units to accelerate the financial close cycle
- Own architecture decisions and sign-off artefacts; lead design reviews and resolve cross-stream technical risks
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, data governance and security policies
- Govern Tooling within the System Landscape
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 8+ years in IT solution architecture or senior SAP technical consulting
- Deep hands-on expertise in SAP FICO; experience in SAP Group Reporting (S/4HANA), GRDC as an advantage
- Understanding of the full FAR chain — Finance Hub, FICO close, GRDC rollups, GR, Disclosure Management
- Experience with SAP BDC / Data Sphere or comparable analytical platform architecture is a strong advantage
- Experience designing and building solutions across the existing Landscape
- Comfortable at code/config level — prototyping, reviewing specs, validating implementations hands-on
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
