As a Senior Risk Assurance Expert, you will work at the heart of Group Risk Management, providing high impact assurance and partnering with business units and Group functions worldwide. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to strengthen the reliability of our Internal Control Integrated Framework (ICIF), drive improvements based on best practice, and support policy owners in designing robust control objectives that truly make a difference. Joining an experienced, international team, you will contribute to a culture of togetherness and forward thinking, helping Zurich build resilient, future ready risk and control capabilities while continuing to grow your own expertise and influence. /p h3What You Will Do /h3 ul liProvide assurance over the quality of the internal controls within the Internal Control Integrated Framework (ICIF). /li liAssess and discuss internal control issues which are significant to the Group. /li liPerform assurance reviews within business units and Group functions, working closely with the local Internal Control, Risk and first line teams. /li liIn co-operation with control testing teams, be responsible for performing assurance procedures to ensure that internal control testing activities are performed in compliance with the ICIF methodology. /li liProvide enhancements based on learnings across the Group and from industry external best practices. /li liSupporting policy owners in designing, developing and implementing control objectives. /li /ul h3What You Bring /h3 ul li10+ years of experience. /li liSolid knowledge of Insurance processes is required. /li liPrevious experience gained working within a global audit team (such as a Big 4 firm) or internal control engagements is preferred. /li liPrior experience within a business unit in Risk Management, Finance or within Group Finance (within the insurance industry) would be an asset. /li liStrong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills are required. /li liExcellent communication skills in both written and verbal format /li liFluent written and spoken English skills. /li liAdditional company languages (e.g. German or Spanish) would be a distinct advantage /li /ul h3You belong here. /h3 pImagine working in one of the world’s most sustainable workplaces.
