Your tasks

Identify trends and developments in the energy and electronics industries and analyze their relevance for materials and component testing.
Systematically integrate customer requirements, application knowledge, and new standards into our product strategy and corporate planning. You know and understand the ZwickRoell product portfolio.
Collaborate with product management, marketing, and sales to create well-founded business plans for your markets – with the goal of ensuring long-term growth.
Derive requirements for new testing methods or product solutions and actively support their development across teams.
Strategically expand your industry network to gain valuable insights and unlock new business opportunities.
Support sales with industry-specific requirements, act as a key driver in marketing through your expertise, and deliver technical presentations nationally and internationally.
Represent ZwickRoell competently in technical committees and contribute your expertise to forward-looking developments.

Your Profile:

You hold a technical degree (Dipl.-Ing. or Master’s, e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics), possibly with a relevant PhD.
You have several years of industry experience, preferably in the energy sector, with solid knowledge in batteries and/or hydrogen.
You have gained experimental experience and extensive application knowledge in materials and component testing.
Ideally, you also have experience in sales (e.g., Business Development, Key Account Management) and marketing (Customer Journeys, CVPs, USPs).
You are characterized by your analytical thinking and structured working style and enjoy strategic work with a high degree of personal responsibility.
Your strong communication skills enable you to convey complex topics clearly and appropriately to different audiences.
With your excellent presentation skills, you inspire and motivate both our international customers and employees.
In addition to excellent German language skills, you are willing to travel occasionally and have business-fluent English (additional languages are a plus).
