JUNIOR INFORMATION SECURITY AND COMPLIANCE CONSULTANT

I`m hiring a Junior Information Security and Compliance Consultant on behalf of a cyber security company specializing in threat analysis, secure software development, web application security, DevSecOps, and secure network design. They assist clients in creating security concepts and making architectural decisions, while also developing considerations for future IT technologies. Additionally, they are involved in the conception, implementation, and operation of new security services and the continuous improvement of internal processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Participate in internal and external audits related to information security.
2. Coordinate and support the gathering, quality review, and provision of evidence for auditors.
3. Maintain relevant documentation.
4. Collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth audit processes.
5. Identify opportunities to improve existing processes.
6. Develop security guidelines.
7. Plan and organize security awareness training and other courses.

Essential:

1. Relevant degree e.g. Computer Science, Business Informatics etc.
2. Relevant professional experience in IT security, auditing, or compliance (working student or intern)
3. Strong enthusiasm for information security, risk management, and compliance.
4. Independent and structured working style with a hands-on approach.
5. C1 German and English

Desirable:

1. Familiar with relevant IT security standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2, BSI, IT-Grundschutz).
