I am hiring a Junior Information Security Consultant on behalf of a cybersecurity company specializing in providing comprehensive security solutions for businesses. Their services include vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to safeguard digital assets. They focus on protecting critical infrastructure and sensitive information, helping organizations mitigate risks, and preventing cyber threats. The company ensures compliance with industry standards, offering tailored security strategies to meet client needs, and fostering a culture of cybersecurity awareness and resilience.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- You will handle consulting tasks involving the planning, implementation, and testing of ISMS for their clients.
- You will assess and create forward-thinking documentation in alignment with relevant information security standards.
- You will collaborate in small consulting teams with clients to create value through IT security and IT compliance.
This role is hybrid in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Essential:
- Relevant degree e.g. Computer Science, Information Security, Physics etc.
- 1 to 2 years of professional consulting experience in Information Security (includes Working Student).
- Initial ISMS experience.
- Experience with ISO 27001.
- Independent and structured working style with a hands-on approach.
- Strong communication skills.
- C1 German minimum .
Desirable:
- Initial experience with frameworks such as TISAX, BSI IT-Grundschutz and/or NIS2.
