Physical Security Consultant (OT) in Mannheim

Overview

In this role you will assess and strengthen physical security across sites, blending hands-on assessments with established information security frameworks. You will develop tailored security concepts and controls, and support protection of facilities and perimeters. You will evaluate existing measures, recommend improvements, and respond to incidents. You will collaborate with customers, project teams and external stakeholders to deliver compliant, risk-based security solutions in regulated environments. This position offers ownership from assessment to implementation and exposure to both physical and information security disciplines.

• Conduct physical security assessments across sites and buildings
• Develop tailored physical security concepts, controls and procedures
• Support protection of buildings, facilities and physical perimeters
• Assess existing security measures and recommend improvements
• Respond to physical security incidents and support remediation
• Work closely with customers, internal project teams and external stakeholders
• Support security activities in line with standards such as ISO 27001 and BSI IT-Grundschutz

Zentrale Anforderungen

• 2–3+ years of professional experience within Physical Security, Security Consulting or a comparable environment
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 and/or BSI IT-Grundschutz
• Experience conducting security assessments and identifying physical risks and vulnerabilities
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Very good German language skills
• Willingness to travel to customer sites within Germany
