Network Firewall Specialist – Full Package up to €90,000 – (Fluent German Needed)

Location: Remote (based in Germany)

This company is a leading German IT service provider and offers a comprehensive range of IT services, including managed and private cloud solutions, public cloud services, and IT consulting.

The Role

• Plan and implement modern network technologies.
• Provide 2nd & 3rd level support, focusing on firewalls.
• Diagnose and resolve network issues, ensuring optimal performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis and improve service strategies.
• Document service architectures and maintain operational manuals.

Your Profile

• Several years of experience in IT network support, especially firewalls.
• Certifications like Fortinet FCP/FCSS; experience with Fortinet, Forcepoint, Palo Alto, Sophos preferred.
• Knowledge of Meraki, HPE networks, proxies, WAF, IDS/IPS, firewall logs.
• Experience with Ansible, Python, network APIs, and monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, HP IMC, etc.).
• Familiarity with ITIL and ISO 20000.
