In this role you will be responsible for:

1. Designing and implementing security measures to safeguard systems and applications.
2. Performing security assessments including threat analysis and penetration tests.
3. Monitoring, analysing and remediating security incidents.
4. Managing security solutions like firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption technologies.
5. Providing security guidance and training to the development team.

This role is hybrid in Berlin.

Essential:

1. 2+ years in a similar role such as a Security Engineer or Penetration Tester.
2. Professional experience with penetration testing and threat analysis.
3. Experience working with network security and firewalls.
4. Experience implementing security standards and guidelines such as ISO 27001 and OWASP.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both German and English (Minimum C1 level German) .

Desirable:

1. Experience with cloud security architecture.
